My inspired starting point for this collection was the fetish for skin and its reconstitution.
So, here I treat our second skin - clothes - like our actual skin, focussing on what skin can be (smooth, wrinkled, supple, firm, etc) and what it can withstand (cutting, stitching, stretching, cleansing, etc). I want to look closely at it through a simple microscope. There are no limits. The skin is sewn; softened; various layers are superimposed; it's cut; distressed; made bigger; rolled; pierced, etc. I chose viscose jersey, silk organza and material with elasticised finishings as the main fabrics to create this effect.
