I designed this collection for living in the city throughout
the entire spectrum of winter days: sunny and cold days, grey
and overcast days and those of racing clouds and rain.
The collection was put together thinking of comfort and the
heat given off by living in tune with the beat of the city.
The urban landscape, low key, sophisticated, safe, comfortable,
upholding timeless values, protective outside and yet transforming
itself into a cosy, snug indoors. Good when you're on the
move, good when you're still.
This is a collection of structured, firm shapes that delineate
a rigorous figure, snuggled and comfortably wrapped. There
are both long and short coats, rain coats, trousers and cunning
sweaters, and in this collection I have rekindled my passion
for skirts.

The colours are sombre, the palette shot through by the breath
of warmth, like winter in the city.
The fabrics are snug, some compact, some malleable. There
are felts, wools, decorated lace wools, cottons, polyamides,
gabardines and wool/chenille blends.
This collection has been conceived down to the last detail
- and the devil is very definitely in the detail. There are
hand-made buttons, some buttoned ... and some not, appliqued
patterns, belts, detachable collars, and, going ever upwards,
even some hats.
